This hot off the press!\u00a0 There was a pleasant surprise awaiting me when I walked into the Soho Ricky’s this evening.\u00a0 Breast cancer awareness month is not until October, but OPI has already released a limited edition hot pink shatter polish with the catchy slogan “Let’s Shatter Breast Cancer.”<\/p>\n

It’s called Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts.\u00a0 Proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure (in the US) and Rethink Breast Cancer (in Canada).\u00a0 I love how OPI is thinking big – let’s do all of North America here! OPI will also make its annual donation of $25,000 to Komen.<\/p>\n

I can’t wait to scoop up one of these for myself.\u00a0 This is the exact color I picture when I imagine a true, hot pink.\u00a0 Check out the swatches after the jump.<\/p>\n

Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts will be available throughout the months of September and October 2011 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard\u2019s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $8.50 ($10.95 CAN) suggested retail for each nail lacquer.<\/p>\n
