Adventure Island is a pale, greyed-out mustard yellow, with a hint of avocado green.\u00a0 Since Sinful Colors’ Adventure Island collection is suspiciously similar to OPI’s Pirates of the Caribbean collection, I was wondering if it could be a dupe of OPI\u2019s Stranger Tides.\u00a0 As you can see below, they’re pretty different.\u00a0 Adventure Island (which I’m wearing) is has more yellow in it.<\/p>\n

This is one of those polishes I had to have because it was so ugly!\u00a0 Yes, that\u2019s what I said.\u00a0 A color like this just dares you, \u201cCan you rock my ugliness?\u00a0 Can you, punk?\u201d\u00a0 Well, it was on.\u00a0 Find out who won after the cut!<\/p>\n

This creme formula was a bit thin.\u00a0 Although you could probably get away with two coats without much streakiness, the perfectionist in me called for a third.\u00a0 Topcoat is Seche Vite.<\/p>\n

You know, this color reminds me a lot of<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And I like celery a lot better in my tummy than I do on my nails!<\/p>\n

So, well, Adventure Island, you win this round.\u00a0 I have a lot of trouble wearing yellows in general because it doesn’t do much for my skin tone.\u00a0 Because I got lazy I kept this polish on for a couple days, but already I’m craving a prettier, more girlie polish.\u00a0 Maybe a sparkly pink or purple next!<\/p>\n
