New YouTube Vid Up: Skull Makeup Tutorial
OK you guys, I finally did it! I just posted a two-part tutorial on YouTube that walks you through the process of applying full-face skull makeup. You don’t need any special materials, just basic black and white makeup, patience, and a steady hand. This is my first ever video makeup tutorial… and video editing… and web video, ever! Hope it’s helpful!
Click to see Part 1: eye sockets, jawbone, nose cavity
And Part 2 – teeth and finishing details
Enjoy, and let me know if you try this out for Halloween!

Jewelry, art, music… and makeup! For me, these are all natural ways of expressing myself. The face is a canvas waiting to be enhanced, just like a blank sheet of sterling silver or clay. Here you’ll find an archive of my makeup looks and tutorials. For about 2 years I did my best to never repeat the same makeup (!!), so as you can imagine there are quite a few! I’m happy to answer any questions about how I created a look, product recommendations, etc.
From time to time I have makeup sales, which will also be posted here.

Hi, I was browsing sites for skull makeup ideas and came upon yours. I love the way you made the makeup so realistic. I am hoping to do something similar for a halloween party I am invited to in a few months and just wondered how long does it take total to do the makeup?
Thanks,
Terri
Hi Terry, thanks for the kind words! I would recommend giving yourself 45 minutes or so. Good luck and have fun 🙂
