My Snarky Valentine

This clever treasury is such fun and really made me giggle.

Pies, bacon and sledgehammers are sure to soothe when Valentine’s Day finds you all by your lonesome.

This one includes my Stuck on You Heart Tentacle Necklace which is a hot neon pink!

No matter what your plans tomorrow, have a beautiful day!

Broken Hearts Etsy Treasuries

Hello, readers.  As I write this post the Superbowl is kicking off and Valentines Day is a week away.  Both have the potential to break your heart, depending on which team you’re rooting for!  Having been a Pittsburgh resident I feel a fond obligation to cheer for the good ol’ Steelers.  But – on to the treasuries.

My broken heart polymer clay earrings are a bit fun, a bit dark.  Rather than my usual bright color palette I opted to use moody shades of of dark gilded red, plum, and topaz.  Really like that color combination!  This pair has been selected for several treasuries.  You can purchase them at my lapinjade and Gearbunny shops.

If you’ve ever been in a long distance relationship then you know all too well the ups and downs of sweet reunions and heartbreaking goodbyes.  LizzieJoeDesigns captures those emotions in her “Long Distance Love” Treasury.

This treasury tells that fickle lover, “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.”

Be My Anti-Valentine

The month of February brings Valentines Day, with all its saccharine sweet candy, roses and cupids.  Um, forget that!  As you probably know, I have a slight obsession with hearts and make a few dark, creepy pieces of heart jewelry.  Some of my fellow Etsians seized on the anti-Valentines theme, too, and they’ve created some awesome treasuries.  Had to share these with you.  I’ll be posting several over the next couple of days.

In the “Bitter and Twisted” Valentines treasury you will find my Bitter Pills Beads.  Side effects include dizziness, euphoria, and very cool jewelry projects.

The Weather Outside is Frightful

The Northeast is being pounded with snow and freezing rain, and I hear there’s more on the way.  But even though I’m holed up inside, there’s lots of activity going on in the Gearbunny labs.

I’m baking cookies

and clay – not at the same time, of course!

Polymer clay hearts ready for baking

Yum!  If I can’t go outside this is a delicious way to spend the day.  I’m getting ready for Valentines Day and plan to have a lot of new treats listed soon.  Keep an eye out for updates here and at gearbunny.etsy.com.
