Scary Time of Year
Halloween is fast approaching, and that means lot of spooky treasuries are appearing! I love love love this season. Here’s a treasury that features my Corpse Bride Barrette Set.
I made these in honor of all things Burtonesque. Cute barrettes made from pearly cadaver-skin blue are perfect for Halloween. I sculpted the bones from polymer clay and painstakingly added tiny black stitches which wrap around. I also brushed on silver and black accents for texture and depth.

And here’s the treasury:

No More Cupid Etsy Treasury
Here’s another cool Valentines treasury, “No More Cupid.” The compiler was kind enough to include my Stuck On You Tentacle Necklace. Click the pix or the links to view and comment.

Be My Anti-Valentine
The month of February brings Valentines Day, with all its saccharine sweet candy, roses and cupids. Um, forget that! As you probably know, I have a slight obsession with hearts and make a few dark, creepy pieces of heart jewelry. Some of my fellow Etsians seized on the anti-Valentines theme, too, and they’ve created some awesome treasuries. Had to share these with you. I’ll be posting several over the next couple of days.
In the “Bitter and Twisted” Valentines treasury you will find my Bitter Pills Beads. Side effects include dizziness, euphoria, and very cool jewelry projects.

Suckers Treasury
nosperpectua has scoured Etsy’s depths for the best suckers to add to her latest treasury. Nope, not the sucker born every minute. This time we’re talking tentacles, cephalopods, nautilus, octopus – the suckers of the sea. She was gracious enough to include my Royal Blue Neon Nautilus Earrings (see top right) in her collection. Click the image below to view the entire thing.
I made these earrings from blue vintage fan-shaped acrylic charms, matching glass cathedral beads, and silver components. Now, you might be a bit surprised to see a Gearbunny item that’s not polymer clay. Although I have a soft spot for clay I always keep my eyes open for other inspiring materials. When I spotted those vintage fan beads at a Chelsea flea market, I couldn’t resist and knew they’d make a kick-ass pair of earrings. The pair I created in hot pink already sold out! These are one-of-a-kind so grab them before they disappear into the deep.

Alternative Bride Treasury
The creativity of my fellow Etsians never fails to amaze me! I am honored that a Gearbunny item has been included in a new treasury. Check out “Funky Bride – Rock N Roll Down the Aisle” by prvtcollection. Summer is the season of weddings – why not make yours alternative and one-of-a-kind? As always this treasury won’t last so browse on over today by clicking on the picture.
