I split the night with Matt (DJ Imperium). It was my first time meeting him, and he was super friendly and easy to work with. I love it when that happens! The crowd was large, but unfortunately a lot of my close friends had other obligations and couldn’t come. Many thanks to those who did show up and support me, though. I used to think that coming up with material for 2.5 hours of DJing was hard. Now I feel like 2.5 hours is barely enough time! Still, I squashed in a lot of nice pre-practiced mixes, some on-the-fly mixes, and a few requests. Not to mention, I had a lot of fun. It really pleases me to see people out on the dancefloor losing themselves and enjoying themselves.
