Cyberwars V
This weekend was incredible! I got no work done but I can’t complain. The Cyberwars show last night (with Pr0metheus Burning, Andraculoid, E-Craft, Terrorfakt, and Mono No Aware) kicked ass. Of course, there were the typical problems stemming from the venue and its recalcitrant owner @$&#! Nevertheless, the bands and promoters took it in stride. Before doors opened, Jason and I had to rush back to our apartments and grab some extra cables and adaptors for the bands. Leif (Mono No Aware) ended up using my RCA cable. Apparently a bunch of his gear got lost in Philly. I was glad I could help out, and he was so gracious, friendly, and down to earth. Actually, all the musicians there were like that, which was really refreshing. I donated the service of my cable for the rest of his tour, and he gave me a nice discount on a sweet Mono No Aware baby tee 🙂 I won’t belabor all the details of the night, but I will say that it was awesome to hang out with friends and hear some live oontz.

DJ Nurse Allison DJing Alchemy
I have been DJing as DJ Nurse Allison since 2002. After getting my start on the local public access radio station, I branched off into college radio and spinning at clubs across the East Coast. You may have caught my sets at industrial/goth/fetish events such as Alchemy in Washington DC, Ceremony in Pittsburgh, NEO in Chicago, or BYTE in New York City. These days I have largely hung up the headphones, but my heart still beats loud for any type of electronic music. This section of the site houses playlists and show fliers, as well as information on upcoming music events.
